New Car: 2009 Lexus IS facelift

New images of the popular IS sedan have now surfaced after scanned leaks hit the web last month. Although changes have been kept to a minimum, the front bumper has received some minor changes giving it an aggressive spoiler type look, the side mirrors get an update too. Other changes could include new 17 and 18 inch alloys, new exterior colours, and a new Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) stability control system. LED rear-lights along with white coloured reversing lights will feature. Engines may be tweaked aswell to give better fuel economy and lower emissions. Some owners have criticised the current 2.2 litre diesel engine for giving poor fuel economy of 22 - 30mpg UK (18 - 25.6mpg U.S) combined.

The revised IS will premier on the 2nd October in Paris. Rumors suggest that Lexus may unveil the IS-CC too.
