New Buick LaCrosse 2010 : Insignia sedan in the U.S. Look
The General Motors brand, introduces the Buick in January 2009 presented at the Detroit Motor Show new version of the LaCrosse in the U.S. market. The luxury sedan in appearance reminded strongly of the Group of Insignia Opel partner. But while the Insignia measures 4.83 meters, the American has less than five feet long. The wheelbase is four inches longer in LaCrosse.
Three petrol injection
The fact that the engines have to be different as well, is clear. Of course there is no diesel in the U.S., and the gasoline engines are larger. Three engines - all petrol - are offered. None of them is known by Opel ago. The three-liter V6 offers 258 hp and 294 Newton meters. The engine is combined with a six-speed automatic. This also applies to the 284-hp 3.6-liter V6 that generates 351 Newton meters. In 2009 to follow a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 185 hp.
Interior: Traditional and Modern
Interior Designer to set the LaCrosse flowing lines, beige leather and lots of brown wood. A blue lighting for instruments and button labels as well as the optional bright blue head-up display provide a modern touch. Also a Bluetooth interface, an auxiliary input, a USB connection and a DVD entertainment system for the rear to show that are not at GM has the time gone.
