Of specialized automotive edition revealed WorldCarFans computer graphics of the future Audi Q3.
The new compact SUV from Ingolstadt company will be called the Q3 and will be manufactured at the factory of VW in Martorell, Spain - by 2011. Audi will spend more than 300 million euros in the preparation of a factory for the production of Q3, as the year is supposed to be produced 80,000 units.
Q3 is described as five-door coupe-like SUV model with the positioning of the seats, wheel size and clearance of a typical SUV. The style will be quite strongly influenced by the concept Cross Coupe, shown in 2007. Tezi spy shots of an early concept version (occurring due to the carelessness of someone who forgot to put out the lights) reveal the profile of a typical compartment. Style very reminiscent of Cross Coupe concept of 2007.
Expected trivrati and petvrati versions which will be based on the same platform PW35, when used hatchback Audi A3. Similarly, it is expected and part of the mechanical package will be identical. Engines will include a 2-liter TFSI engine with 200 horsepower, 3-liter turbo V6 with output of 230 hp and 3.6-liter FSI V6 engine with a power of 285 hp
BMW has unveiled its version of the SUV model with similar dimensions such as car enarechen X1. Land Rover will launch production version of the stylish LRX - appears in early summer Evoque. Mercedes GLK is slightly larger and more responsible class of the X3 of BMW. But all the above models are close enough in size so as to be considered as competitors to each other.
