Chevrolet Malibu confirmed for June LTZ sedan version comes with 2.4-liter Ecotec engine
General Motors of Brazil confirmed on Monday (10) the landing of the Chevrolet Malibu in the national market for second half of June. Still no price disclosed, the sedan arrives in the country only in the LTZ trim version with 2.4-liter Ecotec four cylinder engine with petrol mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with sequential exchange option on the wheel.
According to the manufacturer, the Malibu is part of the segment of large sedans and will be positioned on the line between national Chevrolet Vectra sedan and the Omega. The car also pioneered the current visual pattern of GM, with the radiator grille in trapezoidal sectioned by a horizontal bar with a gold tie, a symbol of the mark in the center of the piece.
The brand also emphasizes the design of the rear of the sedan, which she says is inspired by the Corvette supercar. The aesthetic part of the vehicle also has chrome accents, such as door handles and side moldings, and the set of wheels will only come in size 18 ring, as sidewalks on tires 225/50 R18.
