Jeep Cherokee Limited version - Model R $ 129,900 equipment package offers extended
The Jeep has expanded its product line on Monday (10) to launch a new version of the Cherokee, called Limited. For U.S. $ 129,900, the configuration offers a more complete package of equipment than the present model in Sport (U.S. $ 117,900), until then the only option line.
Both versions have the same 3.7-liter V6 engine of 211 bhp and 31.1 Nm, 4-speed automatic transmission, all wheel drive system Selec-Trac 4x4 and items such as ABS, ESP (stability control), ERM system (which reduces body roll in corners), TCS (traction control) with CD and MP3 audio, air conditioning and automatic pilot. The key differentiators of innovation are the new front rails and guard rails chrome alloy wheels 17 "made of aluminum, with electric sunroof, leather covered seats and electric heating in front, sound system with eight speakers and DVD player, Bluetooth and new active head restraints that move up and forward in a crash back in order to protect the head and neck of the occupants.
The new configuration also provides a component called Memory Jeep, which has two default settings that will store radio stations, the position of the mirrors and adjust the driver's seat for two people. Another highlight is emphasized by the brand in its central intelligence programmable (EVIC), a feature that provides data about the vehicle, including the need for maintenance as well as allowing the driver to control the firing of the headlights when the engine is off, check digital compass, outside temperature and trip computer functions.
